Dr. Gary Talbert is a native Arkansan who received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (U.A.M.S.). Dr. Talbert's surgical training included a five-year General Surgery residency at U.A.M.S. and a two-year Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Kentucky. Following his plastic surgery residency, Dr. Talbert completed a fellowship in Aesthetic and Breast surgery at the Institute for Aesthetic Surgery in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon completion of eight years of surgical training, Dr. Talbert returned to Little Rock, where he established his private practice in 1992. Dr. Talbert has received certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery (A.B.P.S.) and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Talbert is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.). He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (A.S.P.S.), the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (A.S.A.P.S.), the American Medical Association and the Arkansas Medical Society. Dr. Talbert regularly attends continuing medical education conferences nationally.
These conferences afford Dr. Talbert the opportunity to participate in courses
that cover the most recent advances in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Practice Philosophy "My practice has evolved over the past 10 years. My special areas of interest
include cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. There is nothing
more fulfilling than to take that which is undesirable or imperfect and improve
upon it (cosmetic surgery) or to take that which is abnormal and make it more
normal (reconstructive surgery). In this respect, I feel that cosmetic surgery
and reconstructive surgery are integrated into my practice. My desire is to
help you achieve your specific cosmetic goals through quality health care."
