Board-certified plastic surgeons Dr. David Bauer and Dr. Zachary Young have extensive experience in all breast surgery procedures, both cosmetic and reconstructive. This includes breast augmentation using both saline and silicone implants and breast lift, also known as mastopexy. Arkansas Plastic Surgery in Little Rock also offers a combination of augmentation and mastopexy, which gives patients both a lift and upper fullness. We have many years of experience in breast reconstruction for cancer, including tissue expansion and flap reconstruction. Our plastic surgeons are experts in breast reduction surgery and can help to restore your appearance and renew your confidence!
Breast Augmentation
Are you dissatisfied with the way your breasts look? Do you wish you had fuller, larger, or more symmetrical breasts? If you answered yes to any of those, you may be a great candidate for a breast augmentation.
Breast Lift
Gravity, weight fluctuation, genetics, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and aging can cause your breasts to lose their shape and sag. You can have more shapely and lifted natural breasts as a direct result of breast lift surgery.
Breast Reduction
For many women, excessively large or disproportionate breasts are more than just an aesthetic issue — they are also a health concern. Large breasts can cause a host of problems, including rashes, poor posture, shoulder, neck, back pain and/or discomfort, as well as upper extremity numbness, tingling, and headaches. They can also interfere with performing certain activities and even cause self-consciousness.
Breast Reconstruction
If you have lost your breast(s) due to breast cancer, breast reconstruction surgery can be an emotionally and physically rewarding procedure. Dr. Bauer and Dr. Young can help improve your self-image, quality of life and most of all your personal confidence. Let Arkansas Plastic Surgery help you feel better about yourself during this difficult time.
Prepectoral Breast Reconstruction
Implant-based breast reconstruction is the most commonly used reconstruction technique after mastectomy. Prepectoral breast reconstruction is a method of implant-based reconstruction that places the device immediately under the skin. As opposed to traditional implant reconstruction, no muscles are elevated and a full reconstruction can often be achieved at the time of mastectomy.
Nipple Reconstruction
A nipple correction procedure surgically improves the shape, size, or projection of the nipple whether the result of the natural appearance is due to changes resulting from trauma, pregnancy or even aging.
Reconstruction of the nipple after a mastectomy can be done with specialized techniques to create a nipple and areola. At Arkansas Plastic Surgery, we provide nipple tattooing, also known as sub-dermal pigmentation. 3D tattooing is a great option for those patients who do not wish to have nipple reconstruction.
